The NATECH Quality Control/Quality Assurance Officer fulfills a critical role for the Fort Rucker Gunnery Range and Training Complex as the lead agent for the development and maintenance of the program’s Quality Control Program. This individual reports directly to the Prime Contractor Program Manager (PM) and also serves as the Team Lead point of contact with Government Quality Assurance specialists. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provides staff oversight for the development and maintenance of all quality programs, processes and procedures in a manner that is compliant with contract Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.
Assists the PM in ensuring that all work performed on the contract is compliant with NATECH and Team corporate policies, the contract PWS, and applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
Conducts trend analyses of Key Performance Indicators to assist in fostering a climate of continuous improvement.
Conducts independent research and provides informed recommendations on ways to improve program efficiency, effectiveness and/or the quality of products and services provided.
Leads process improvement teams as directed by the PM.
Performs other duties as assigned.
This is a contingent position based on contract award and receipt of funding from the customer.
Minimum Requirements include:
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university.
Four years’ QA or QC experience in either the government or civil sector
Two years’ experience conducting root cause analysis (RCA)
Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
Must be able to work non-standard work schedules, to include weekends and nights
Must be able to work outdoors in all climate conditions, stand on feet for up to four continuous hours, lift up to 40 pounds unassisted, and walk up to one half mile unassisted over uneven terrain
Must possess a valid state driver’s license
Additional Preferred skills:
Military experience at the Warrant Officer or Field Grade Officer level in either the Aviation, logistics or maintenance fields
Previous military experience as an Observer/Controller/Trainer at any of the Army CTC’s
Experience with the US federal government as a Quality Assurance specialist
ASQ certified Quality Engineer
